The Science and Psychology of Lying - Psychological Book Review:
All humans lie, in fact they are probably one of the most deceptive species on the entire planet, and with their rather large brain humans are able to lie about just about anything. Psychological Abnormalities Considered - Book Review:
When it comes to psychology what's that famous line; What is Normal Anyway? Indeed, it's hard to say if anyone is completely normal, and with that said, who'd want to be of normal psychology anyway. And surely no one wants to be considered abnormal, and if they did, they probably already are you see?

50 Beliefs, Some of Which Are, Unfortunately, Embraced by a Large Percentage of the Population:
Guy Harrison's book "50 Popular Beliefs People Think are True" (Prometheus Books, Amherst, NY, 2012) contains 50 chapters, one for each belief category containing an assortment of ideas that many believe to be true. None is true, or at least there is little or no credible evidence for these forms of belief reviewed and critiqued by the author: How many beliefs do you hold that are assessed in this book? None, I hope.

How to Deal With the Suicidal Child:
The problem of child suicide continues to grow and the lives of many young people aged from 10 upwards will be lost to this tragic event. In the United States alone, suicide is the third leading cause of death in teenagers and the fourth leading cause of death in pre-teens.

Traumas Can Be Treated - Here's How:
The Trauma Treatment Handbook: Protocols Across the Spectrum by Robin Shapiro. What a great book. Plainly written, packed with information and resources, the author demonstrates an astonishing depth of knowledge, grasp of scores of trauma therapies, along with compassion and warm empathy for trauma survivors. All this underscored with a scientific objectivity and a lively sense of humor.
